Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ben O. Pruette brings over 18 years of real estate experience to Premier Sotheby's International Realty. Before becoming a REALTOR®, he enjoyed taking friends to see cool neighborhoods and houses that had lots of potential. Ben realized that real estate was his calling and made the decision to pursue it as his vocation. He enjoys the negotiations, the marketing strategy sessions and making it clear what to expect in the next step of the buying or selling process.

Ben believes variety is the spice of life and he approaches every situation with a good sense of humor. He attributes his success to his excellent communication skills and his ability to remain calm in a crisis. Ben loves to explore new communities and he has his finger on the pulse of the Buncombe County community.

He is a member of the Land of the Sky Association of REALTORS®, North Carolina Board of Real Estate Commissioners and the National Association of REALTORS®. Ben is also an Accredited Buyer Representative and a Senior Real Estate Specialist.

In his spare time, he takes joy in gardening, swimming, hiking, reading and writing. Ben supports the ArtSpace Charter School of Asheville, Warren Wilson College and is a contributor to UNCA Department of Music and choirs. He once published an article about condominium purchasing in Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Ben was the president of a local neighborhood association for many years and is on the condo board for the Laurel as vice president. He attended Furman University, University of Florida and Southeastern of Wake Forest and received a master's degree in counseling and education.
